Citrus Expo Planning Process
Citrus Expo℠ seeks input for seminars and event activities throughout the year from growers, grower organizations, the University of Florida & other citrus research communities. Traditionally providing strong input include Gulf, Highlands and Peace River Valley Citrus Growers Associations, Indian River Citrus League, Florida Citrus Production Managers Association, University of Florida/IFAS regional research stations and the UF/Citrus Research & Education Center at Lake Alfred. University of Florida Citrus Research and Education Center personnel also play a key role in implementing seminar programs based on the input collected.
Grower input remains welcome throughout the process. Please email us with your Citrus Expo suggestions at CitrusExpo@southeastagnet.com.
Traditionally supporting involved industry organizations through promotional stipends and other local sponsorships, Southeast AgNet/ Citrus Expo℠ also makes donations as proceeds allow toward citrus research at University of Florida. Since Southeast AgNet/Citrus Industry Magazine ownership and management of Citrus Expo℠ began in 2006, Citrus Expo℠ has donated more than $60,000 to regional group activities and UF/IFAS citrus research.
