The Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo is less than two months away! The excitement is building as registrations pour in, and seminar speakers are announced. While many of the Expo traditions will remain, there are some new and exciting additions to the show. AgNet Media has added brunch, citrus ice cream and live cooking demonstrations to the event.
SUPERB SEMINARS
In the Aug. 21 general session, attendees can look forward to hearing talks from several ag policy leaders, including Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson, State Representative Danny Alvarez and State Senator Jay Collins. There will also be a special talk from Fresh From Florida Chef Justin Timineri. In addition to speaking about the Fresh From Florida program in the general session, he will be performing a cooking demonstration on the trade show floor.
Citrus seminars will take place on both days of the show, Aug. 21–22.
FOOD, FOOD AND MORE FOOD
You won’t go hungry at the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo! Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served on Wednesday and a fun new brunch on Thursday. Thank you to our premier meal sponsor, Agromillora. While you walk through the trade show, be sure to stop by booth 308 for delicious ice cream, sponsored by Crop Vitality. This year, there will be a custom citrus-flavored ice cream to try!
Be sure to stay for the networking reception on Wednesday. Sponsored by Tree Defender and Repar Corporation, the reception is the prime time to network with growers, exhibitors and industry representatives. Kick back, relax and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and an open bar on the trade show floor.
