Last year, the Citrus Research and Development Foundation partnered with AgNet Media to conduct a survey to obtain preliminary information on the use of the bactericides made available through Tree Health Section 18. The three products containing streptomycin or oxytetracycline are again available in 2017 through the recertification of Tree Health Section 18. The results of the 2016 grower survey were included in the information that supported the application for continued use of the bactericides.
The survey results were presented at the 2016 Citrus Expo and subsequently in written form. Data for this report came from growers who completed an anonymous survey as they registered for Citrus Expo online or through the survey published in Citrus Industry.
Once again, we are asking for growers’ assistance in completing the second year of this short survey.
