New Location, New Memories

The Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo is two months away! This year, growers will gather in Tampa on Aug. 1617 for Florida’s largest agricultural trade show. The new Expo location is exciting news for many, including Ray Royce, Highlands County Citrus Growers Association executive director.

“The Florida State Fairgrounds is at a crossroads of many major highways, making it easily accessible for growers all over the state of Florida and even southern Georgia,” says Royce.

The Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo will be a two-day event including a trade show and seminar program. The trade show hall will be filled with the agriculture industry’s most prestigious companies, while the seminars will contain the latest research for citrus and specialty crop growers.

Royce encourages industry members to attend the Expo to gather with fellow growers and exhibitors and learn new information during seminar sessions.

“The Expo is a premier place for growers, affiliated industry personnel, educational speakers and vendors to gather together to interact and learn from each other,” says Royce. “There is something for everyone at the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo.”

Don’t miss this year’s refreshed Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo!

Attendance is free with complimentary breakfast and lunch both days for grove owners and managers, citrus production managers, vegetable and specialty crop growers, professional crop advisers, association representatives, board members and the agricultural research community.

Don’t forget to preregister! All preregistered growers will be automatically entered for a chance to win a John Deere gun safe, courtesy of Everglades Equipment Group. To preregister, click here.
