Be aware of hotel scams

Several Expo exhibitors have been solicited by a company identifying itself as “Expo Housing.” This is a scam. This company indicates it can reserve hotel rooms at one of our affiliated hotels at a better rate than what is being offered. The hotels are not affiliated with any housing services on behalf of Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo.

There are several organizations that troll the internet searching for trade shows and conferences. They obtain exhibiting company names from the events’ websites and then research online for contact information from the various companies. AgNet Media does not release your contact information to anyone except our official decorator, Shephard Exposition Services. You will receive an e-mail from Shephards in May or June to order additional furnishings for your booth.

If you receive a call from any company claiming to be associated with Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo, get a name and telephone number and forward the information to us. Do not give your credit card number. You will be liable for any charges
