The AgNet Media team would like to thank growers, other attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors for making this year’s Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo a success. The event was held on Aug. 21–22 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa — the second year at the new venue.
It takes a lot of hard work to put this event on, but it is rewarding to provide a place for growers to learn about the latest production research, be with their peers and see the products and services on the trade show floor that they need to farm. We appreciate everyone involved. The Expo would not be possible without your participation!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraising raffle held by the Florida Future Farmers of America (FFA) students. FFA state officers volunteer to help set up the event and ensure that the Expo runs smoothly. This year, the students raised nearly $5,000 selling raffle tickets for a pull-behind smoker. Mark Douglas from HGS BioScience was the lucky winner.
