Tomorrow, the Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo kicks off at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Plan to arrive early, grab a cup of coffee and breakfast in the trade show hall, and connect with exhibitors before heading to the first seminar of the day at 9:00 a.m.
The two-day Expo will feature an extensive trade show, informative seminar sessions and valuable networking opportunities for citrus and specialty crop growers. Attendees can also earn continuing education units (CEUs) while learning from top industry experts.
Special events include:
- Happy hour on the trade show floor with cold beer, provided by Tree Defender. Relax and mingle with fellow attendees on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- A John Deere gun safe giveaway on Wednesday during lunch, courtesy of Everglades Equipment Group. All preregistered growers have a chance to win.
- Pull-behind smoker raffle, donated by Hays-LTI, supporting Florida FFA Association.
- Brunch on Thursday to wrap up the event with good food and conversation.
