The Florida FFA Association is gathering next week in Orlando for its state convention. Students will celebrate the past year’s achievements while developing leadership skills and personal growth. At the end of the convention, a new team of state officers will be elected. These officers will serve as volunteers at the 2023 Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo in Tampa.
The officers will be selling raffle tickets for a custom pull-behind BBQ smoker donated by Hays-LTI. The drawing will take place during the networking reception on Wednesday, Aug. 16. All proceeds will go to the Florida FFA Association.
The Florida FFA officers contribute a tremendous amount of assistance toward the success of the Expo. Please help support these hardworking young leaders by purchasing a raffle ticket at the event.
Expo attendance is free with complimentary breakfast and lunch both days for grove owners and managers, citrus production managers, vegetable and specialty crop growers, professional crop advisers, association representatives, board members and the agricultural research community.
Don’t forget to preregister! All preregistered growers will be automatically entered for a chance to win a John Deere gun safe, courtesy of Everglades Equipment Group.
AgNet Media is nearly sold out of exhibitor space. If you would like to exhibit at the event, please fill out a registration form.
